The biggest vibe shift was wandering the tower of Tartarus, which is now the creepiest of all the Persona dungeons. You can save anywhere you like except for in dungeons. When in a dungeon, you can only save at the entrance or in certain areas. There are 15 save slots to use.
The soundtrack is just as incredible to listen to as ever – providing a relaxing atmosphere during calm moments, tension and dread during serious moments, and blood-pumping excitement during boss battles. The soundtrack has even managed to make me feel emotional during the sad and poignant parts of the story.
Normally you cannot fuse Personas at higher levels than you, however there is an unlockable late in the game that will let you fuse higher level Personas.

Rage: Will always use melee attacks and will attack a random enemy. Damage dealt and damage received is doubled. Accuracy is halved.
A stellar visual overhaul and countless small changes and additions beyond it leave a significant impact, making Persona 3 Reload a more fully realized version of a beloved RPG. Although still dated in some respects, quality of life improvements and new features refresh its exciting turn-based combat and add depth to its touching story moments.
It finally feels like I'm truly exploring, experiencing, and learning the geography of Tatsumi Port Island instead of merely hovering above it.
Beyond Tartarus, bespoke story-centric boss fights await you persona 3 reload gameplay on each full moon throughout the story. Although they're relatively quick in how they unfold, all the new mechanics and visual flourishes of Reload give these battles a bit more gravity and spectacle, especially as you inch closer to Persona 3’s bold, daring, and moving conclusion.
After completing the game, I am happy to report that this remake has exceeded my expectations and cemented itself as one of my new favorite Persona games of all time and one of Xbox’s best JRPGs.
